7 AM 7 PM / 7 PM 7

Position Overview:

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking dynamic and team-oriented Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) to join our thriving Hospitalist teams in the East Florida Division . This full-time position features a 7 on / 7 off schedule , working 12-hour shifts , for a total of 182 shifts per year . You ll be part of a mission-driven, highly respected inpatient medicine team with robust physician support and opportunities to work across several top-rated campuses in Volusia, Flagler, and Lake Counties.

Practice Highlights:

Schedule :

7 on / 7 off, consistent week-on/week-off model

Shifts :

7 AM 7 PM (day) or 7 PM 7 AM (night)

Team-Based Care :

Collaborative support from hospitalist physicians, specialists, and nursing staff

Environment :

Modern facilities, evidence-based protocols,

EPIC EMR Sites :

Credentialing at multiple hospitals to allow flexibility in scheduling and potential for extra shifts

Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient care, including admissions, rounding, and discharges Collaborate with supervising physicians to manage acute medical conditions Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EPIC) Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Current Florida license (or eligibility) National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)

ACLS/BLS

certification Inpatient/hospitalist experience preferred but not required Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
