Job Description
As one of the largest Clinical Research Organizations in the world, we have four Early Phase Clinical Research Units in the UK and US. We are currently seeking a PA or NP (PRN) to communicate and interact with participants, regulatory bodies, and clinical teams along with other departments of Clinical Pharmacology. This is a PRN, office based position in Daytona Beach, Florida. If you join us, you will work with some of the world´s leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies in a vital stage of clinical development: establishing the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of a new drug. Whilst allowing you to have a close face-to-face relationship with participants, and as you continue to practice your clinical skills and knowledge, you´ll be involved with the latest medical technologies and treatments, witnessing their development firsthand. WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will utilize your skills, knowledge, and clinical judgement to enter clinical data into appropriate database via data entry screens by referring to source documents (image / PDF) along with entry of QC of lab ranges into databases.
Other key responsibilities:
Perform physical examinations/medical histories, and other participant assessments as delegated by the Medical Director. Interact with regulatory bodies as are relevant to the operations department. Assume responsibility as technical advisor to the clinical teams and other departments within Clinical Pharmacology. Maintain and further develop facilities and processes relevant to operations. May perform clinical feasibility review of new proposals. Oversee and direct the development/implementation of quality systems to ensure good clinical practices are maintained. Ensure compliance with
FDA/GCP/ICH
regulations. Perform routine study activities as needed. Undertake any other duties as required
YOU NEED TO BRING
… Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Certified as a Nurse Practitioner and possesses current licensure. Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program Successfully completed the National Certification Requirements for Physician Assistant (NCCPA) and is currently certified to practice (PA-C) Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements. Three to five years related experience.
