Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Position Available In Volusia, Florida

Summary Florida Health Care Plans, a large multi-specialty staff model HMO is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, (PMHNP) to join our Edgewater Team located at 239 N. Ridgewood Avenue. Office hours are flexible,outpatient only , no weekends. Some of our larger multi-specialty hubs offer Behavioral Health, Diabetes Education, EHCC Walk In, Endocrinology, Lab, Primary Care, Pharmacy, Ultrasound, Bone Density, Wound Care, and X-ray all onsite. Qualifications + Minimum 2 years’ experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner + Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license + Experience in Addiction and Mental Health + Motivational Interviewing experience + Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and/or substance abuse dual diagnoses. + Treatment planning + Ability to conduct and utilize comprehensive assessments + Timely and quality documentation; experience with EMR (Epic a plus) + Eligibility to work in the United States.
