Position:

Nurse Practitioner Float Location:

Austell, GA Shift :

30-40hrs/wk. Every other weekend required.

Requirments:

Must be willing to float to nearby clinics. Completion of a Master’s Degree Family Nurse Practitioner program. Current National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Minimum 1 year of professional experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Application for DEA required at time of offer. Verifiable high school diploma or GED (in addition to clinical degrees).

Position Responsibilities:

Provide patient-centered, evidence-based care for patients 18 months and older . Perform assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, health counseling, and disposition planning . Document all care in a computerized electronic health record (EHR) system. Educate patients on proper health practices to improve outcomes. Evaluate, recommend, co-manage, and treat patients’ medical needs safely. Participate in developing Patient Centered Practice Teams . Provide timely responses to patient care inquiries throughout the day. Improve patient engagement and satisfaction by integrating patient, management, and colleague feedback. Manage both clinical and non-clinical tasks to support clinic efficiency. Cultivate professional relationships with practice and retail colleagues . Resolve conflicts using appropriate management techniques . Help with hiring, development, and training of practice staff. Enhance operational effectiveness with a focus on cost containment and quality of care . Verify insurance coverage and incorporate it into patient care planning. $HC=
