Malpractice Coverage, 401k Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Allergy Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive allergy and immunology care, including patient evaluation, diagnostic testing, treatment planning, and education. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with an experienced allergist and support staff. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments, histories, and physical exams. Diagnose and manage allergic conditions such as asthma, rhinitis, eczema, contact dermatitis and food allergies. Administer and interpret allergy testing (skin testing, patch testing, spirometry, etc.). Perform procedures such as allergy shots, challenges, biologic administration. Prescribe appropriate treatments and monitor patient responses. Refill prescriptions appropriately. Treat allergic reactions to include anaphylaxis. Educate patients and families on condition management and prevention strategies. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records. Address patient messages. Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner license in Georgia National certification as an NP Must have at least two years of hands-on clinical experience Minimum 1 year of experience in allergy/immunology or a related field preferred Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Clear understanding and appreciation of the patient experience BLS/CPR certification required Comfort with IV access placement in children and adults Must pass background check and drug screening prior to final hire Why Join Us? Dr. Lee’s professional journey includes significant contributions to private practices in Manhattan, where her expertise played a pivotal role in facilitating substantial expansions. Dr. Lee was previously an Assistant Professor at Emory and saw patients at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA). During her time with Emory and CHOA, she was the Associate Program Director for the Fellowship Program, a co-investigator in several noteworthy food allergy clinical trials, and accepted into the inaugural class for the EPIC physician builder program. Dr. Lee’s commitment to mentorship is evident through her guidance of numerous learners from undergraduates to fellows. She currently mentors several Emory undergrads, Agnes Scott post-bac students, Emory medical students, Morehouse pediatric residents, and Emory Allergy/Immunology fellows.
