A community-based, grant-funded health clinic committed to advancing health equity through accessible, patient-centered care. We specialize in STI Care, Prevention, HIV treatment and support services for underserved and marginalized populations in Metro Atlanta.

Position Summary:

We seek a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our clinical team. The NP will lead the screening and treatment of sexually transmitted infections, initiate and monitor PrEP services, and initiate care for individuals newly diagnosed with HIV or returning to care—beginning antiretroviral therapy (ART) through our Rapid Start protocol. New graduates are welcome to apply . While the role may involve working independently at times, you will never be without support —colleague providers are always available for consultation remotely to assist and answer clinical questions as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Screen and treat patients for STIs according to the CDC treatment guidelines, including: Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Trichomoniasis, Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV), Hepatitis

B & C, HIV

Obtain medical histories and perform physical exams for patients newly diagnosed with HIV or returning to care. Initiate Rapid Start ART per current HIV treatment guidelines. Educate patients on STI/HIV prevention, medication adherence, and healthy practices, including PrEP and PEP. Coordinate with case managers, peer navigators, and lab staff to ensure timely linkage to services. Accurately document all encounters in the electronic health record. Participate in quality improvement and program development initiatives.

Qualifications:

Current NP licensure in the State of Georgia Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult NP New graduates are encouraged to apply Strong clinical judgment and comfort with autonomous practice (with remote support) Commitment to health equity and culturally competent care Experience or interest in HIV/STI care and working with underserved and vulnerable communities This role is ideal for a new nurse practitioner graduate who is passionate about community health.
