Position Summary Plans, evaluates, and implements high qualitymedical care with appropriate resource management to patients, bothadults and children in cooperation with center physicians.
MAJORRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Adheres to the service and courtesystandard of WellStreet Urgent Care by delivering the higheststandard of patient satisfaction at all times. Provides patientcare within the respective clinical area which complies with theProfessional Staff Bylaws, rules and regulations and WellStreetUrgent Care policies and procedures. Provides and/or serves as aresource for patient/family and staff education. Provides anauthenticated report of all services rendered and maintainsaccurate and complete records in an acceptable manner. Completesnecessary documentation and ensures communication to facilitatepatient care and appropriate reimbursement Participates inmeetings/activities as required to support operations of the urgentcare center. Participates in activities that enhance professionaldevelopment, complete and maintain certification in BLS or ACLS(ATLS, PALS, or NALS optional) and maintains any additionalspecialty training/certifications as required by the area assigned.
Performs other responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or PhysicianAssistant program of study Licensed Nurse Practitioner/PhysicianAssistant in accordance with the state of Georgia. 2 YearExperience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred. CurrentDEA registration, preferred. Meets eligibility requirements forcredentialing as part of the WellStreet Urgent Care medical staff.
BLS certification is required. Demonstrated ability to communicateeffectively with patients, families and other employees.
