Foundation Psychiatry, P.C. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic outpatient psychiatry practice. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes a psychiatrist, another PA, an NP, and a psychotherapist. Our clinic also offers advanced interventional treatments including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and

® (esketamine) therapy. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health care through psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaboration with our clinical and administrative teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This position is ideal for a provider who values team-based care, is skilled in psychopharmacology, and is eager to grow in innovative treatment modalities. We are especially seeking a clinician who is proactive in recognizing when patients with treatment-resistant depression may benefit from alternative interventions such as TMS, and who can confidently guide patients through that transition after inadequate response to two or more antidepressants. Key Responsibilities Outpatient Psychiatric Care Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations for adult patients. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications under the supervision of a psychiatrist. Monitor and adjust treatment based on clinical response and side effects. Identify patients who are appropriate candidates for TMS or

® after unsuccessful trials of traditional pharmacologic treatment. Provide supportive counseling or brief psychotherapy when appropriate. Coordinate care with therapists, primary care providers, and other referring clinicians. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Participate in training (if not already certified) to understand TMS treatment protocols. Proactively screen and refer patients who may benefit from TMS therapy, particularly those with treatment-resistant depression. Educate patients on TMS treatment options, risks, and benefits to help support informed decisions. Collaborate with the TMS team to monitor patient progress and outcomes.

® treatment. Provide ongoing monitoring and documentation of treatment response and safety. Work closely with nursing and clinical staff to ensure a safe and supportive treatment environment. Collaboration and Communication Actively participate in regular team meetings and clinical case reviews. Consult with colleagues regarding complex cases to support coordinated and holistic care. Contribute to a culture of mutual respect, support, and clinical excellence. Documentation and Compliance Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation in the EHR. Adhere to all applicable legal and ethical standards in documentation, prescribing, and clinical decision-making. Requirements Education and Licensure Master’s degree from an accredited PA or NP program. Current licensure to practice as a PA or NP in Georgia. Certification in Psychiatry (PA-C with psychiatric experience or PMHNP) strongly preferred. Experience Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in psychiatry or mental health preferred. Experience with medically complex or treatment-resistant populations a plus. Familiarity with TMS and/or esketamine is a plus but not required (training available).
