This is aNocturnist role focused exclusively on Labor & Delivery triage.
Anticipated shifts will 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3-13’s). There will beno call requirements for this position.
Ideal candidate will haveprior L&D experience as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or PhysicianAssistant (PA). Triage experience is highly desired.

This is a Nocturnistposition. Anticipated shift requirement will be 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM(3-13’s).Job Description Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients. Documents the delivery of care in the individual’s medicalrecords. Conducts patient interviews and documents patient histories,psychosocial histories, health status and medical problems orpotential problems. Under the direction of a physician, performs physicalexaminations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeuticprocedures including cast application and removal, wound suturingand dressing changes. Assists physician in diagnosing medical problems, developingcare plans, and prescribing treatment.
Minimum Qualifications Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program orPhysician Assistant program. Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the stateof Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a NursePractitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) orequivalent body, or Certified as a Physician’s Assistant by theNational Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants(NCCPA). Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia. May require at least one year of direct experience in one ormore high acuity clinical specialties. Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association andHealthcare Provider certifications required. ACLS may be requiredin some areas.
