Job Description

Kaiser Permanente/ The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) Nurse Practitioner Inbasket Management/ Virtual Care The Inbasket Manager will be responsible for the timely management of Inbasket functions for Oncology providers unavailable for coverage due to hospital rounding, vacation, sick or other specified leave, as well as assisting with inbasket management of select inbasket folders, including patient emails, patient messages and medication refill requests, at the direction of the Chief of Service. The patient care plan should be initiated, as necessary, per department protocols. The Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner will review the medical record and address clinical needs, as appropriate, while adhering to the TSPMG Nurse Protocols for Advance Practice Registered Nurses. Time will be allocated to patient visits, including telephone visits, integrated video visits, and face-to-face visits for appropriate conditions. This is a full-time position that requires some work to be performed within the medical office buildings of our Duluth or Jonesboro locations however most work will be virtual. The Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner may support multiple specialties, directly reporting to the Chief of Oncology with a dotted line reporting relationship to another Chief of Service.

Minimum qualifications include:

Unrestricted current APRN license in the State of Georgia in Adult medicine or Family practice Master’s of Science in Nursing Qualified for NPI designation and Medicaid Provider ID The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) is one of Georgia’s largest independent, physician-owned, multi-specialty medical groups.
