The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health care to patients, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires a strong understanding of psychiatric disorders and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provide medication management and education to patients regarding their treatment options. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in case management activities to ensure continuity of care. Provide support in occupational health settings as needed. Utilize medical imaging and IV insertion skills when required for patient care. Engage with geriatric populations, ensuring appropriate care strategies are employed. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Experience in hospital medicine or pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) settings is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth. Previous experience in case management is advantageous. A solid understanding of occupational health principles is a plus.
