Veterans Engineering (VE) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the healthcare team at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center . Responsibilities:
Provide primary and preventive care, chronic disease management, and health education Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver integrated patient care Actively participate in patient safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts Serve as a preceptor or mentor on clinical standards and patient safety practices Promote patient autonomy and support ethical care decision-making Contribute to research and continuous improvement activities Identify safety or resource utilization issues and implement appropriate interventions
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher in nursing Two (2) years of full-time NP experience in adult, family, or med/surg outpatient care within the last three years Graduate of an accredited NP program (ACEN or CCNE) Certified by ANCC or AANP as a Nurse Practitioner Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license Current BLS certification U.S. Citizenship (required for access to federal systems) Two recent letters of recommendation, including one from a clinical supervisor or physician Why Join Us?
