SALARY INFORMATION
$55.00 Hourly / Job Code T7001 / Pay Grade TPW Job Responsibilities Under supervision of a senior APRN, performs advanced nursing functions and healthcare services in specialized areas. Operates under the nurse protocol agreement with delegating physician, conducts complete physicals, provides treatment, and counsels clients. Performs complete evaluations/assessments of individual clients in STI and Family Planning programs. Provides treatments, monitors patient progress and administers medications/vaccines; provides preventive and maintenance care to patients/families. Documents accurately, completely and timely in medical records and on the Superbills. Provides appropriate follow-up care. Implements an appropriate plan of contraceptive care with client. Maintains knowledge of current practice standards and accreditation for the practice of medicine. Ensures quality assurance standards of care are met in programmatic areas. Encourages and facilitates cooperation, pride, trust, and group identity; works cooperatively with others to achieve goals. Works and communicates with customers to provide information and high-quality services which meet customer needs. Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates responsible behavior. Minimum Qualifications Doctorate or Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and/or other education requirements approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing AND certification in the specialty area(s) approved by Georgia Board of Nursing AND Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse AND Georgia license as an
APRN AND CPR
certification.
