Job Title:

Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare facility, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients in need.

Duties:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
• Prescribe and manage appropriate medications
• Provide therapy and counseling to patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly
• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues and treatment options

Requirements:

• Current valid Nurse Practitioner license
• Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing
• Experience in acute pain management and medical records management
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
• Ability to provide care in various settings such as hospitals and Level I Trauma Centers
• Proficiency in IV infusion and phlebotomy
