Nurse Practitioner – Mobile Wound Care Apollo Woundcare North Shore, LA 70458 About Us Apollo Woundcare is a physician-led mobile wound care company providing high quality, patient-centered wound care services throughout the Covington and Mandeville area with the possibility of travel to the New Orleans area 1-2 times a week. Our team delivers care directly to patients in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and private homes. We are committed to improving outcomes through timely, expert care and personalized service. Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our mobile wound care team. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated clinician who enjoys working independently and managing chronic and acute wounds and building relationships with patients and partner facilities. Responsibilites Provide on-site wound assessments, debridements and treatment for patients across various care settings. Collaborate with physicians, facility staff and caregivers to develop and implement care plans. Document all visits and treatments accurately in the EMR system. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families on wound care management and prevention strategies. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care. Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, including HIPPA. Stay current with advancements in wound care techniques, technologies, and protocols. Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Louisiana. Current Nurse Practitioner license also in the state of Mississippi (optimal) Certification as an Adult-Gerontology, Family or Acute Care NP but will consider all candidates. Wound care experience preferred but not required – training available for the right candidate. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Strong communication, organizational and clinical skills Comfort with EMR systems and mobile documentation tools Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, mobile schedule
