OVERVIEW

Overstory Health builds world-class patient-centric Partial Hospital & Intensive Outpatient (PHP & IOP) programs for those with high acuity mental health needs. ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Psychiatric Clinician at Overstory Health, you will play a key role in delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to adults navigating high-acuity mental health conditions. Working within our Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs, you’ll conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, with option to provide ongoing medication management, subject to mutual agreement in collaboration with our interdisciplinary team. RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct Patient Assessments:

Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including mental status exams, diagnostic assessments, and risk evaluations for incoming and current patients Assist with

Developing and Managing Treatment Plans:

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that support patient goals and clinical progress

Provide Medication Management:

Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications (as appropriate to licensure), monitor side effects, and ensure patient understanding and adherence

Collaborate Across Disciplines:

Partner with therapists and case managers to deliver coordinated, holistic care

Document Patient Progress:

Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards Participate in

Clinical Rounds and Supervision:

Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and supervision to promote shared decision-making and continuous learning Contribute to

Program Development:

Provide input on care model enhancements, workflows, and clinical best practices in a collaborative, startup environment

QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program. While our preference is for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), we would also consider a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with extensive experience in mental health.
