Position Title:

Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Primary Care & Walk-In Care

Summary:

We’re hiring an experienced and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing community health team in Houlton, Maine.

There are two full-time openings:

one in a traditional Primary Care setting, and another in an Open Access Walk-In clinic (this is the more urgent need).

Salary:

Starting around $125K, but flexible based on experience and fit

Job Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive care across the spectrum of health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Responsibilities include patient care, wellness screenings, treatment planning, collaboration with the broader clinical team, and ongoing documentation and compliance with clinical policies. This role involves direct engagement in team huddles, clinical integration efforts, and may include occasional travel to nearby clinics.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Certified and licensed (or eligible) in the State of Maine. CPR and ACLS certifications. Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and documentation skills. Clean criminal background and valid driver’s license
