Mon-Fri Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Per Diem NursePractitioner to work in the Neurogastro Enterology & MotilityCenter. This role is responsible for providing skilled health careto patients, and facilitating clinical management of patients bycollaborating with attending gastro enterologists, clinical nursesand other members of health care team.

Per Diem NursePractitioners and Physician Assistants Role Scope:

• Providesdirect patient care in office consultations, including assessment,work-ups, triage, emergency work-ins, and other patient careactivities
• Obtains and documents health history, performs anddocuments physical exam, and orders and interprets diagnostic tests
• Provides counseling to patients regarding diagnosis and expectedcourse of treatment
• Attend/Host recurring meetings to discusscomplex patients or address any issues with Motility conduction ofstudies
• Collaborates with physicians to provide appropriatedirect care interventions within scope of practice
