FNP-C DocStar Medical Partners Topsfield, ME 04490 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. The FNP will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive environment. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations. Diagnose and treat a variety of health conditions across the lifespan. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs. Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and wellness strategies. Perform medical procedures as necessary, including but not limited to immunizations, wound care, and minor surgical procedures. Utilize Telehealth platforms to provide remote consultations when appropriate. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with ICD-10 standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay current with advancements in medical-surgical practices, psychopharmacology, and gastroenterology. Experience Candidates should possess the following qualifications: A Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner studies. Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Experience in medical-surgical nursing is preferred. Familiarity with Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems is a plus. Strong knowledge of physiology and infant care practices. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Prior experience in telehealth services is advantageous but not required.
