Job Description:
Here is a list of some of the standard primary and acute care managed at the clinic; hypertension, diabetes, ADHD, GERD, UTIs, URIs, STDs, sprains, allergies, wellness exams, sick visits and school physicals. Collaboration with physician Collaboration with centers medical staff, wellness staff and substance abuse specialists as necessary. Role Description This is a contract role for a Locums NP/PA with The Locums Company, LLC in Crystal Springs, MS. The Locums NP/PA will be responsible for providing coverage for primary care physicians and specialists during vacation, leave, other staffing shortages, or on-going yearly long-term contracts. The Locums NP/PA will work on-site and provide medical care to student patients in accordance with their medical specialty and expertise. Job Requirement:
Active and unrestricted state medical license in Mississippi state Experience in providing medical care to adolescent patients, including performing medical procedures and prescribing medications Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work 6 hours per week Prior experience as a locums provider is a plus Valid Federal DEA license
