• $76.00 an hour / 80 hours month between the hours of 8am-5pm, Monday – Friday

• Position Description:

• Work in collaboration/consultation with a Physician currently holding an unrestricted license in the State of Mississippi; in accordance with their Board of Nursing-approved protocol, the PMHNP may assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate responses to treatment for psychiatric illnesses; obtain histories, in evaluation, differential diagnosis, treatment and/or referralwhen appropriate; administer on an as-needed basis Rapid Covid-19 testing properly according to the manufacturer’s instruction and current CDC guidelines to: potentially positive persons served and staff of the Agency, persons’ served and staff showing Covid-19 symptoms and/or have been exposed to Covid-19; unvaccinated employees of the Agency;exposed persons each week for two (2) consecutive weeks or until the threat of infection is no longer present; utilize Ellisville State School provided Test Kits and appropriate PPE when administering tests to prevent the spread of any contagions; enter testing data and resultsinto “Simple Report” program formulating diagnosis and plan of treatment; ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies and lab work, while assessing persons’ current health care needs; prescribing psychotropic medications that are appropriate for diagnosis and plans within the parameters of applicable regulations; notifies Infection Control immediately of

ALL POSTIVE TEST

results.

• EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Typically requires a Nurse Practitioner Degree in Family Psychiatric Mental Health or Adult Psychiatric Mental Health, licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and nationally board certified.
