The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Level II Trauma Center and possess a strong background in patient care, critical care, and emergency room settings. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services, conducting patient assessments, and managing cases effectively. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine health status. Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans. Manage acute and chronic health conditions through effective case management strategies. Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance patient care practices. Educate patients and their families on health management, preventive care, and wellness strategies. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards. Ensure compliance with basic life support protocols during emergencies. Requirements Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure. Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or similar clinical environment is preferred. Proficiency in performing patient assessments and managing critical care situations. Strong knowledge of emergency room protocols and procedures. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Familiarity with medical office operations and clinical research methodologies is advantageous.
