The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of medical practices and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of patients. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Perform procedures such as spinal taps, gastric lavage, and airway management as necessary. Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care. Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with ICD-10 coding standards. Stay informed about workers’ compensation law as it pertains to patient care. Qualifications Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field from an accredited program. Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Experience in assisted living or similar healthcare settings is preferred. Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and the ability to lift patients as needed. Familiarity with dialysis procedures is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on patient education. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
