Advanced Practitioner / Radiology Division Position Available In Buncombe, North Carolina

ARA Health Specialists, located in the mountains of western North Carolina, is seeking a certified physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join its existing APs. Responsibilities include performing fluoroscopy (including barium studies, myelograms, lumbar punctures, arthrograms, & placement of feeding tubes), CT/Ultrasound directed biopsies (including lung, liver, & thyroid), and other invasive procedures (drainages, chest tube placement). Clinic responsibilities, including pre-procedure and post-procedure assessments, are essential functions of this position. Surgical experience, strong clinical abilities, and effective communication skills are required. Previous radiology experience and NC licensure is preferred. Preferred:

Previous experience (six months or more) as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a vascular surgery clinic/interventional radiology clinic and hospital setting
