Family Nurse Practitioner 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars Murphy, NC 28906 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The FNP will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive health measures, chronic disease management, and acute care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine health status. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Administer medications and manage medication administration protocols. Provide acute care for patients with various health conditions. Perform procedures such as venipuncture, specimen collection processing, and airway management. Offer specialized care in areas such as ophthalmology and infectious disease management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems like Epic. Educate patients and families regarding health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Adhere to established standards of practice and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Active nursing license in the state of practice. Experience in acute care settings preferred but not required. Proficient in medication administration and management protocols. Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems is highly desirable. Strong skills in specimen collection processing, venipuncture, and phlebotomy techniques. Knowledge of airway management techniques and infectious disease care standards. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and support. $112,625.00 – $119,537.00 per year
