ResponsibilitiesThe Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner isresponsible for the following:
Evaluating and treating patients inaccordance with clinical best practices for an urgent care and/oroccupational health setting.
Providing compassionate and respectfulpatient care consistent with NextCare services, values and missionstatement.
Treating all patients who present to the clinicappropriately and discuss the treatment plan with the patientensuring there is a clear understanding of the nextsteps.
Documenting care utilizing the electronic documentationsystem.
Taking personal responsibility for appropriately coding andbilling for care rendered.
Delivering exemplary care and act in alegal and ethical manner.
Maintaining clinical productivityconsistent with peers and industry standards for a similarsetting.
Follow up on patient care as indicated.

certification for a Physician Assistant or an ANCC orAANP certification for a Nurse PractitionerNurse Practitioners mustbe permitted to treat all age groups, from infant to geriatric, asper their board specialty, such as Family Nurse PractitionerMinimumof a Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or Master’sof Nursing degree in Nurse Practitioner studiesActive BLSCertificationMust be comfortable with all age groupsEHRproficientDOT Certification is/may be required.
