Videos Duties Duties include, but are not limited to: Independently manages a panel of pients with acute and chronic health conditions with an emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention using evidence-based practice. Develops and implements an individualized plan to achieve optimal populion health and disease management. Demonstres leadership and works collaborively with the interdisciplinary team. Basic Requirements Educion:

A post-master’s certifice or master’s or doctoral degree as a Nurse Practitioner. Foreign Educion. Gradues of foreign schools of professional nursing programs, the nurse practitioner degree equivalency must be valided through an Agency recognized degree equivalency evaluion agency, such as the Internional Consultants of Delaware ( ). License and Certificion:

License. All APN (NPs) must possess and maintain an active, current, full, and unrestricted APN license to practice as an NP in a Ste, Territory or Commonwealth of the United Stes, or in the District of Columbia. Basic Certificion. All APN (NPs) must maintain full and current board certificion in an area of clinical specialty from one of the following: the American Nurses Credentialing Center ( ), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certificion Board ( ), or other nionally recognized certifying body in the area in which the Nurse Practitioner is academically prepared.

The incumbent may be exposed to infected pients and contamined merials and may be required to don protective clothing in isolion situions, operive/invasive procedures, or home settings.
