Full-Time Position Summary:

Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a licensed independent medical provider who delivers evidenced-based, personalized, integrative care to patients seeking integrative, functional, and preventive health services. This position specializes in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) , gut and thyroid health optimization , medically supervised weight loss , and lifestyle-based wellness interventions. The NP works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to identify and address root causes of chronic symptoms, improve quality of life, and promote long-term vitality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough initial evaluations, including history, physical exams, and review of comprehensive lab panels focused on hormonal, metabolic, gastrointestinal, and thyroid function.

Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing:

Bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (e.g., pellet, topical, oral, injectable) Nutraceuticals and functional medicine protocols Gut health restoration Thyroid support, including T3/T4 medication management Lifestyle-based weight loss and medically assisted weight loss programs Order, interpret, and explain advanced diagnostic testing such as hormone panels, GI mapping, micronutrient testing, and food sensitivity panels. Prescribe medications including compounded medications and supplements appropriately and in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Provide patient education on nutrition, hormone balance, detoxification, sleep, and stress management. Monitor ongoing treatment effectiveness through follow-up visits, symptom tracking, and lab reevaluation. Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation. Collaborate with clinic staff and nutritionist, health and wellness coach to ensure continuity and quality of care. Participate in continuing education and professional development related to integrative and functional medicine.

Minimum Qualifications:

Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina National certification (AANP or ANCC) as a Family or Adult NP DEA license BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred minimum of 2+ years’ experience in integrative, functional, or hormone-based clinical practice. We will consider other applicants. Preferred experience in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), including pellet insertion, topical applications, injectables, and oral. Advanced training will be offered for qualified candidates. Familiarity with advanced hormone, metabolic, thyroid, GI and micronutrient testing. Knowledge of medically supervised weight loss protocols including nutritional counseling and peptide therapy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-focused approach Interest or experience in medical aesthetics , such as neurotoxins, dermal fillers, PRP, and skin rejuvenation treatments (e.g., RF microneedling, laser) Willingness to expand clinical knowledge base , including ongoing training in integrative and functional medicine, hormone optimization, medical aesthetics, and emerging wellness therapies Preferred certification or training from functional medicine organizations such as A4
