Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Medlead Careers Winston-Salem, NC 27103 Are you a Nurse Practitioner with a passion for geriatric patients? We are looking for an energetic and eager Nurse Practitioner to join our nursing home located in Winston Salem, NC.
Duties Include:
Demonstrate competency in planning and preparing for the care of the residents. Managing all primary care related consults. Check in with patients who have acute issues and establish a follow-up plan. Prescribe and interpret labs and diagnostic tests to obtain information for underlying infections or abnormalities. Prescribe medication and drugs. Reach an informed diagnosis based on medical knowledge and the patients’ medical history. Collaborate with Medical Directors and Registered Nurses to form a high-performing medical team. Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients with patients, family members and the medical team. Are you a fit? NP license in the state of North Carolina Long term care experience•highly preferred At least 1 year of experience working as an NP Responsibility and reliability
Schedule:
Full time Monday•Friday 8 Hour shifts
Benefits:
