Job Description
Join Our Team as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in Belmont, NC! We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to take a leadership role in a brand new, 10-bed LDRP Level-I Nursery at a state-of-the-art facility in Belmont, North Carolina, scheduled to open in late 2024. This ideal NNP position offers a supportive environment with the anticipated delivery of 600 babies each year and a collaborative team working together for the well-being of newborns.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct daily rounds on newborns in-house and attend deliveries upon request. Take call from home to provide ongoing care for newborns. Stabilize, manage, and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia. Collaborate with a team of 4 NNPs and 2 Neonatologists at a nearby Level
III NICU.
Option for supplemental PRN shifts at the Level
III NICU
in Gastonia, not required. Participate in a facility recognized for excellence, including multiple awards and designation as one of Thomson Reuters Top 100 Hospitals.
Qualifications:
Current NNP Board Certification (FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications are not accepted). Minimum of 2+ years of employment experience as an NNP (not including RN experience). Master s Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing. Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare team.
