65 hours over 2 weeks, rotating 2 week schedule. 3 daysone week and 4 days the next week.

8:30-7:30 (1 hour lunch)

Family Nurse Practitioner Overview:

Family Nurse Practitioner responsibilities include but are notlimited to

Patient-Centered Quality and Safety:

Accuratelyevaluate, treat, provide health counseling, and dispositionplanning for patients ranging in age 18 months and above. Educate patients on maintaining proper health to influence qualityoutcomes. Evaluate, make recommendations, co-manage and treat patients’medical needs for safe and high quality treatment. Document all patient care within an electronic health recordaccording to MinuteClinic policies and procedures. Participate in an interdisciplinary team providing care andcoordination of patients with internal and external colleaguesensuring the highest level of care is provided for patients at alltimes.

Customer Service Excellence:

Deliver excellent customerservice. Seek to increase patient engagement and satisfaction throughintegration of feedback from patients, management, and professionalcolleagues. Create a warm and welcoming environment. Communicate effectively and adjust communication style toeffectively influence quality outcomes and patient needs. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Healthcare Environment Management:

Resolve conflict usingappropriate management techniques. Cultivate and maintain positive relationships among practiceemployees and retail store colleagues. Manage clinical and non-clinical duties efficiently. Manage multiple demands and needs of clinic operations, patients inthe waiting room, and incoming phone calls while maintaining focusand high quality care on the patient in the exam room. Adapt quickly to new models of patient care for clinicefficiency. Adhere to the core values of CVS Health MinuteClinic in allcommunications and interactions.

Business Acumen:

Remain accountable to managing the businessincluding, but not limited to, budget, payroll, inventory, billinginsurance, and payment collection. Drive business results through connecting day to day activityachievement to overall business goals. Validate insurance coverage and incorporates knowledge into careplan. Review and supervise internal systems for handling cash, dailyreconciliation, deposits, clinic cleanliness and organization.

Autonomy:

Work independently by being self- motivated, prioritizeand solve problems, take initiative, and advocate for theirpatients and their practice. Actively participate in professional development throughprofessional groups, committees within the organization and/oradditional external experiences Maintain self awareness and professionalism of individual actionsand how they impact the clinic, practice, and healthcareindustry.

Family Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:

All NP resumes must have the completed candidate questionnaireattached. 1+ year of professional experience as a Family NursePractitioner. Application for DEA is required at time of offer.
