Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our client’s workplace health clinic in Greensboro, NC. This role will play a vital part in supporting employee health and safety , conducting health screenings , and providing medical care for both occupational and non-occupational health concerns. The selected candidate will work primarily onsite at the Greensboro clinic , with travel 2 days/week to the Research Triangle Park (RTP) clinic . You will work under the direction of an on-site physician and collaborate with environmental health and safety teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide acute and chronic care treatment for employees. Diagnose and treat both work-related and personal injuries/illnesses . Serve as the acting Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for onsite employee health clinics (GSO and RTP). Perform pre-employment and fitness-for-duty health screenings . Offer guidance on occupational health, chemical hazards, physical risks , and overall workplace safety . Maintain thorough documentation and coordinate with other healthcare and safety personnel. Promote preventive healthcare and wellness initiatives within the workplace.

Required Qualifications:

Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in North Carolina. Minimum Experience in Internal medicine , or occupational medicine . Strong understanding of occupational health guidelines , OSHA standards , and employee wellness programs . Ability to work independently and travel weekly to RTP site. Excellent communication and clinical assessment skills.

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in corporate health , industrial medicine , or employee health clinics . Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and occupational health protocols.
