Job Description:

Thriveworks is currently seeking Psychiatric Mental Health NursePractitioners in Charlotte, NC. In an effort to maintain safety andbest practices for our clinicians and patients via telemedicine,Thriveworks does not push or incentivize the use of stimulantmedications; instead, we offer them as an option based on theclient’s specific symptoms and diagnosis, with prescribingdecisions left to the discretion of the clinician. We do notcurrently treat substance use disorders, and make every effort torefer out to an in person provider when symptoms arise that are toosevere to be treated via telemedicine only. Thriveworks NursePractitioners are expected to provide care to a diverse populationof clients with mental health conditions such as depression,anxiety, ADHD, and more. They work with a broad range of agegroups, primarily adults and adolescents, with a future focus onexpanding care across the lifespan.

Qualifications:

LicensedPsychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Board Certificationrequired Masters in Nursing with active prescriptive authorityrequired Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR a plus Three yearsexperience a plus Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health NursePractitioners need to be licensed and living in the state in whichthey will be practicing All clinicians are required to complete anin-house training on our ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, andapproach, followed by a certification exam. While all new hires areenrolled in the ADHD Clinic and expected to treat ADHD clients,there are no quotas for the number of clients or prescriptions.

Compensation:

This is a Fee for Service position, the range forthis position is $130,000-$187,000 per year based on 25-35 clinicalhours per week.

What We Need:

Make Psychiatric assessments andevaluations of clients in an ongoing capacity Prescribe medicationin an effort to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed Create andcollaborate with clients on care plans Complete and/or administerappropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients Adhere toThriveworks’ Clinical Practice Guidelines Consult with RegionalClinic Directors and staff on clients, programs and services onsite
