Sanger employs more than 110 physicians in a network of more than 25 locations to provide the highest quality care available to patient with cardiovascular disease. Sanger has more than 50 years of experience in providing comprehensive acute and chronic cardiovascular services, including the region’s only heart transplant center and pediatric heart surgery program. Job Summary Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute’s Vein Center is seeking a full-time, predominately Outpatient, Vascular NP or PA to provide quality care to the patients we serve in the Charlotte community. This Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will be part of an established team of specialized Vascular Physicians and APPs. This role will be an integral component of a high functioning team providing highly specialized vascular care focusing on venous disease. The successful applicant will be responsible for the initial evaluations, pre and post procedural care for the management and treatment of venous disease. Predominately in the office setting the successful candidate will assist physician with in-office procedures and perform small amount of in-patient post procedural discharges. Additional duties include participation in vein center accreditation processes. The tentative work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 1st shift hours. No call, no weekends. This position is eligible for the annual Performance Incentive Bonus and CME allowance. Teaching opportunities with students and/or APP Fellows are also available, but not required for the position.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program. Current license to practice as a NP or PA in North Carolina. Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.

BLS/ACLS

Certified. Nurse practitioners must be acute care certified based on the population served. Physician Assistants with certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants required. +1 years of experience, Cardiology preferred.
