Job Description Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner Primary Care works in collaboration with the physician in the outpatient setting (primary care offices or clinics including family medicine, women’s health and internal medicine). Performs minimally invasive procedures, and generally works with a stable patient population.

Responsibilities And Duties:

Works under direction and in consultation/collaboration with physician. Assesses and evaluates patients, H&Ps, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, etc. Assists in diagnostic and invasive procedures. Pre-operative and post-operative care, writes orders, discharges, etc. Promotes quality outcomes and initiatives. Must have a standard care arrangement SC a with a physician in like practice APRN responsible for notifying the Ohio Board of Nursing g . Practices within applicable state laws, appropriate boards, and in accordance with his/her standard care arrangement and delineation of privileges.
