Job OverviewWe are presently in search of afull-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Manager to become a partof our team. This position will oversee a team of NursePractitioners, ensuring clinical excellence and providingleadership, guidance, and support. The Psychiatric NursePractitioner Manager will balance clinical duties with supervisoryresponsibilities, ensuring optimal productivity and providerdevelopment while maintaining their own clinical caseload. Thisrole combines clinical expertise with leadership skills to enhanceservice quality and provider performance (50% clinical, 50%administrative).This position is entirely remote and open tocandidates from select states across the U.S. The full-time workhours are scheduled from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm ET, with aone-hour lunch break.

ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership Supervise and support a team of nurse practitioners in theirclinical and administrative responsibilities. Provide direct clinical care, maintaining a patient caseloadalongside administrative duties. Lead team meetings to ensure collaboration, alignment, andsharing of best practices. Ensure all team members are adhering to Brave Health’s clinicalprotocols and policies. Serve as the escalation point for clinical issues, patientconcerns, and medical supervision pages. Monitor and ensure compliance with quality and performancemetrics, including productivity, appointment outcomes, and trainingcompliance.

Performance Management & Quality Assurance Track and manage the productivity, completion rates, andperformance of NP team members using scorecards and performancemetrics. Address performance issues with team members through coaching,feedback, and coaching plans. Collaborate with Quality Managers and other stakeholders toimprove patient care outcomes and enhance service delivery. Monitor NP inboxes to ensure timely responses to medical pages,refill requests, and patient concerns. Ensure all session outcomes and appointment documentation arecompleted daily. Oversee the completion of mandatory training (e.g., Relias) andensure adherence to continuing educationrequirements.

Administrative Duties Manage billing holds and work with relevant departments toresolve issues. Assist with the resolution of provider change requests andoversee transition for departing providers. Participate in strategic planning and department-wideinitiatives in collaboration with other leaders.

Requirements &Qualifications Current, valid nurse practitioner license (PMHNP) withsignificant experience in psychiatry or mental health services(adolescent experience strongly preferred). Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a PMHNP. In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 criteria, diagnostic techniques,and mental health treatment. A graduate degree in Business Administration, Management, or arelated field is strongly preferred. At least 5 years of experience managing teams beyond clinicaloversight, including responsibility for business operations metricsand people management/coaching. Proven ability to lead and develop teams, manage performance,and provide support to clinical staff. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborateeffectively across departments. Comfortable with technology and telehealth platforms, withexperience using EHR systems. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with astrong capacity for adaptability and navigating areas ofambiguity. Self-motivated and proactive, with a proven track record oftaking initiative and driving projects to completion. Strong organizational skills with the ability to managemultiple priorities and balance clinical duties with administrativeresponsibilities.
