At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system, where efficient, effective services are tailored to their needs by providers they know and trust. Right now, we are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to partner with our team to provide services within our Occupational Health department. This is a Per Diem position. In this role, you would utilize your skills to recognize expertise in pre-employment physicals, workers’ comp initial and follow-up evaluations, determine work restrictions, conduct clinical assessments and be involved in health screening procedures. You would draw on your training and experience to advise employees on the prevention of illness and injury as well as provide them with emergency treatment for both. Ideal Candidate would have:
  • APN License
  • Current BLS certification
  • Well-developed critical thinking skills
  • Experience in physical assessments
  • Good social/interpersonal skills
