Welcome to Allied DigestiveHealth! We are seeking a Full Time (FT) Nurse Practitioner (NP) tojoin our Family at Gastroenterology Medical associates in JerseyCity, NJ. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role indelivering high-quality healthcare services to patients acrossvarious age groups. Your primary responsibility will be to conductcomprehensive clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, andprovide ongoing management of patient care in family medicine,geriatrics, and pediatrics. You will collaborate with amultidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and effective painmanagement, addressing both acute and chronic health issues. Thisposition requires a strong commitment to patient education andadvocacy, empowering individuals to make informed health decisions.

Ultimately, your expertise will contribute to improved healthoutcomes and enhanced quality of life for the patients you serve.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Nursing with aspecialization as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current NursePractitioner license and certification in Family Medicine or arelated field.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in ahealthcare setting.
  • This is a Outpatient role.
  • Monday throughFriday, no nights or weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in pain management and trauma care.
  • Certification ingeriatrics or pediatrics.
  • Bilingual skills to communicateeffectively with diverse patient populations.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and evaluations of patientsto determine their healthcare needs.
  • Develop and implementindividualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary toensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Educate patients and theirfamilies on health management, preventive care, and lifestylemodifications.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and otherhealthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Skills:

Therequired skills of clinical assessments and patient safety areessential for accurately diagnosing and managing patient conditionson a daily basis. Your expertise in family medicine will guide yourinteractions with patients, allowing you to provide tailored carethat meets their unique needs. Skills in pain management willenable you to address complex pain issues, ensuring that patientsreceive appropriate relief and support. Additionally, yourknowledge of geriatrics and pediatrics will enhance your ability tocare for patients across the lifespan, fostering a holisticapproach to health. Preferred skills, such as bilingualcommunication, will further enrich your interactions with patients,promoting inclusivity and understanding in healthcare delivery.
