Position Profile:
25,000 annual Pediatric visits
14-bed PEDS ED with 11 private rooms and Pediatric Fast Track area
Scribe coverage
A large acute-care area for more serious injuries and illnesses
54 bed Level
III NICU
Full complement of Pediatric sub-specialists on site
Paragon EMR system (EPIC coming in 2025)
Pediatric and Family Medicine residency on site
Group consists of PEM, Adult Care Pediatricians and Advanced Practice Providers

Saint Peter’s University Hospital, a member of Saint Peter’s Healthcare System, is a 478-bed acute-care teaching hospital sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen. Saint Peter’s is a state-designated children’s hospital and a regional perinatal center, and is a regional specialist in diabetes, gastroenterology with a specialized Heartburn and Reflux Center, oncology, orthopedics and women’s services.
