Epic Position Overview:

A leading tertiary care academic center in Central NJ is seeking a board certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide night-shift coverage for both stroke and general neurology services. This is a high-acuity inpatient role where your expertise will directly support one of the region’s most advanced neuroscience programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to Stroke codes and conduct NIH Stoke Scale Assessments Provide thorough neurological assessments Collaborate closely with an onsite neurology resident and consult with attending neurologists by phone. Manage a caseload of approximately 10-15 patients per night, including consults Utilize the Epic EMR for all documentation

Ideal Candidate:

Board-Certified NP or PA with inpatient neurology or critical care experience Comfortable operating independently during overnight hours Proficient in stroke evaluation and general neurology assessments Licensed (or eligible) to practice in New Jersey.
