Trauma Position Highlights Role:
Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) providing overnight neurology coverage Responsibilities include: Responding to stroke codes and performing NIHSS assessments Conducting full neurological evaluations for consults and primary cases Supporting patients per shift Collaborating with an on-site neurology resident Consulting with two attending neurologists available by phone Working within a Level 1 trauma center (no trauma experience required)
Requirements Experience:
Inpatient neurology or hospital-based APP experience preferred
Licensure/Certifications:
Board Certified NP or PA Active NJ license NIHSS certification Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred
