Nursing Full Job Description Overview:
G&S Medical Associates is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The Nurse Practitioner will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients. Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations on patients. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Prescribe medications and other treatment modalities as appropriate. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies. Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. Stay current with advances in medical knowledge and best practices through continuing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner and unrestricted licensure to practice in the state. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other medical software applications. Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Willingness to adhere to professional standards and ethical principles.
