Responsibilities Provide comprehensive initial evaluations. Perform testing, assessments, and create treatment plans. Prescribe and monitor medications, follow-up treatments. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care. Educate, counsel and assist patients and families regarding mental health conditions. Maintain detailed, timely and accurate records. Qualifications Current certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Active NY License.
