The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients with dermatological conditions, utilizing their expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients with dermatological issues, including skin conditions and concerns. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices. Perform various dermatological procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy. Educate patients on skin health, preventive measures, and treatment options. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner. Provide health coaching to promote overall wellness and skin health. Assist in family planning discussions as needed for patients. Requirements Current Nurse Practitioner license with specialization in Dermatology or relevant experience in the field. Proficiency in performing vital signs assessments and basic life support techniques. Experience in home care, critical care, pediatrics, or ICU settings is preferred. Knowledge of catheter care procedures is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Cerner. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with dermatological advancements.
