Responsibilities:

The Urgent Care NP:

Perform assessment and interventions for each patient Participate in interdisciplinary committees that influence or determine policies Follow facility procedures/protocols for admitting residents transferring to hospitals / clinics / outpatient visits Complete appropriate documentation based on the established guidelines Assist in defining, maintaining, and interpreting standards of practice Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in an Urgent Care role/setting Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills Patient oriented Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized
