The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a primary care setting, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Duties Assess and evaluate patient health status through comprehensive physical examinations and medical history reviews. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and aseptic techniques. Perform procedures such as catheterization, phlebotomy, and neonatal ventilator management when necessary. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and treatment options. Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition, providing acute care as needed. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Uphold standards of practice in home care settings and behavioral health scenarios as required. Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and hospital medicine practices. Experience in acute care settings preferred; familiarity with neonatal care is a plus. Proficiency in aseptic techniques and the ability to perform various nursing procedures. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members. Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care while adhering to safety protocols. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
