We are dedicated to providing excellent patient care and services. Our facility’s primary and specialty practices are Family Medicine, Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. We are looking to expand Yong Kang Medical growing facility with the help of new team members! Yong Kang Medical has been serving the community in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island for 20 years and we are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine who will help continue our mission to serve our patients exemplary state of the art care. Our patient population is primarily Chinese speaking and we are seeking bilingual providers who speak Mandarin or Cantonese. (Both are a plus!)

Responsibilities:

Be expected to see 25-35 patients/day Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician Able to care for adult patients as well as pediatric patients Evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients clinical problems and health care needs Records physical findings Formulates plan and prognosis based on patient’s condition Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment Able to maintain medical records with ICD code

Qualifications:

Licensed with board eligible or certified 1+ year of experience preferred but not required Must be able to speak English and Chinese fluently (bilingual) Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
