NP for Endocrinology-FT -Day 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars Great Neck, NY 11021 PRINE Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner that is compassionate and dedicated to help perform clinical evaluations to patients with endocrinology related issues. The NP is to provide a diagnosis, treatment, consultation, and follow up under the supervision of one or more physicians in the Practice. A part-time position is available at our practice which is located in New Hyde Park, New York. Job Description Part time weekday position available. 3 day(s) per week; additional coverage available based on need. Takes initial patient histories and performs physical examinations. Initiates, documents, and communicates the plan of care and follows up to ensure complete screening and preparation of patients. Performs daily patient rounds. Writes orders for medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic tests. Complete a comprehensive review and assessment of a patient’s medical history and physical health. Interprets laboratory and test results. Confers with physicians, and/or other care providers to ensure optimum quality of patient care. Diagnose and direct counseling for each patient on a plan for treatment. Document progress notes, prepare patient workups and encounter summaries. Create personalized care plans in coordination with the member’s primary care physician. Performs related duties as required. Qualifications Valid State Nurse Practitioner License Certification by one of the Nurse Practitioner certifying bodies (ANCC or AANP) Must be

CPR/ACLS
