The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans are implemented effectively. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to develop individualized care plans. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring appropriate management of medical-surgical conditions. Provide primary care services in outpatient and urgent care settings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes, particularly for those with developmental disabilities. Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Perform sterile processing procedures as needed to ensure a safe clinical environment. Stay informed about advancements in medical practices related to anatomy knowledge and patient care. Experience Proven experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with sterile processing techniques within a hospital or clinical setting is preferred. Experience in acute care environments, including medical-surgical units or memory care facilities, is beneficial. Strong understanding of outpatient care practices and urgent care protocols.
