Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Position Available In New York, New York

A thriving Primary Care Office in Queens, New York, is seeking to expand its team by adding a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP). The candidate must be able to speak Hindi, Urdu, or Bengali to interact with the patient population. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a well-known physician to get in on the ground level of a growing practice. Candidates with experience will be given priority, but the group is also very open to training.

• Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services under the supervision of an esteemed physician.
• Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications as needed.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, and minor surgeries.
• Educate patients and their families on preventive care and health maintenance.
• Collaborate effectively with our physician and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current state licensure in New York and board certification.
• Fluent in English and proficiency in either Hindi, Urdu, or Bengali to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Openness to continuous learning and professional development.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a primary care setting is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to commit to a long-term position and grow with our practice.
• Interest in community health and serving a diverse patient demographic.
